    Excavation

    Excavation is the ability in McMMO related to using a shovel to dig anything on the soil chart, including exotic materials like Soul Sand.

    Experience

    The base skill of Excavation is trained by using a shovel to break blocks. You will gain experience based upon the block you break Check the chart below, to see how much XP is given for each block.

    Archaeology gives you the abililty to gain items from digging! Depending on your level of Excavation you will be able to pick up items found in the ground. Each time you receive a treasure from this ability, you also gain 100 XP.

    Giga Drill Breaker is an ability activated by right-clicking a shovel before immediately digging after. It adds 5 levels of Efficiency to the held shovel for a time of 22 seconds. A drawback is that your tool's durability drains 10% more during Giga Drill Breaker.
