Give nation leaders /baltop. I cannot collect taxes without knowing how much $$$ someone has.

Would also prefer to have access to bank balances.

What are the benefits of your suggestion for the server?
Allows nation leaders to collect taxes.

-1 on access to bank balances especially, not sure why you guys need any access to balances to be honest. Just converse with the people that live in your nations when deciding upon taxes to get a sense of their wealth instead of having the ability to view everyone’s money whenever you want without their consent.

While this is a good thing, you have to realize that the nation leader's are not a permanent position and can be over-thrown. So this would also require for every time a nation changes hands, the config for them would have to be changed too. Not sure how much extra work that would put on the devs+ but it's unnecessary work they don't need imo.

afaik this is something that would be added to the nation leader rank in-game. When someone is overthrown/resigns they will simply lose their rank which would then be given to the new leader. If that is the case, there would be no additional work for the dev's in the event of a change in leadership.

Also, I think support for this from more than just nation leaders should be required for this to be considered.

Perhaps it would be possible to give nation leader some sort of economic update on their nations every so often. Basically have staff do a /baltop and block out the names, maybe give them info on how much total wealth exists in their nation, average bal of their nation members, stuff like that. That way they don't have access to check anyone's bal any time, but they still get a big picture sense of how their nation is doing in terms of money.

After discussing it, we have decided this is unnecessary. Full blown access to people's balance information is not good for privacy. Taxes will be fairly allocated so I would not be too worried about that.
