Incorrect merchant purchase amounts/merchant is just super nice and does not want to take all your tokens

The merchant states that each stack of sea lanterns will cost 5 tokens. However, upon purchase it only takes 1. For example, I was able to buy 5 stacks of sea lanterns with 5 tokens.
