Nation Rank Info
Each Nation will have two specific rank tags and multiple ranks without in-game tags. Please read here for information on those.
The Nation Leader
Each Nation's leader will have a different tag based upon what they want to be referred to as but the color will remain
[Nation Leader]. The Nation Leader title can only be changed upon a successful overthrow.
Nation Leader Responsibilities
- Use Nation Funds and Nation USD funds for the good of the Nation.
- Maintain order within the Nation.
- Coordinate war plans with the server.
- Establish Nation Rules.
2nd-in-Command
Handle Executive Decisions when the Nation Leader is busy. Field issues with the other three officers.
Additional Positions
For the sake of running a functional nation all 3 of the following positions must be filled. They can be filled by the same player or 3 different players. Each of these positions are important to running the Nation and must be in place.
Immigration Officer
Is responsible for handling immigration paperwork and requests in a reasonable period of time. The Immigration Officer does have say over if someone may immigrate from one colony to theirs. They do not have any control over a member leaving their Nation. Immigration Officers are encouraged to speak to potential immigrants, ask them questions, and make a decision on whether to allow them in. If an Immigration Officer does not state approval or disapproval of an immigration application within 3 days of the application being posted, then the application will be automatically approved.
Immigration Officers only have control of whether Colonists+ join their Nation. Citizens can join any Nation they want.
Treasury Officer
Maintain and advise the Nation Leader on the Nation Bank Account.
Judicial Officer
Responsible for handling complaints about Nation Staff and general complaints when the Nation Staff is busy. File official complaints for requests of removing players permanently from your Nation. Those complaints will only be handled by Admin+ Server Staff and are not guaranteed to be approved.
Nation Staff
What are they?
Staff appointed by the Nation Leader to maintain order within the Nation. Their tag will be
Sheriff and they will handle the Nation's specific rules.
Responsibilities
- Enforce Nation Rules
- Help New Players
- Aid their Nation Leader
- Help Server Staff by reporting rule violations if a Server Staff Member is not present on that Nation Server.
All Nation Staff Behavior
Although the Server Staff would like to be hands-off with how the Nations run themselves, we will not tolerate abuses of power. Attacking specific players, issuing extra punishments simply due to not liking a person, or any other abuse of power can force Imperia to step in. In the event this happens, Imperia's Owners will take whatever steps they deem necessary to handle the abuse including but not limited to removing the entire Nation Staff Team and Leadership.
