Disappearance of my lovely parrot friend

Please describe in detail the bug or issue.
Had a parrot on my shoulder and went to a home in the mining world and then when I tped back he was no where to be found.

Evidence:
None he vanished

From what I can tell, the parrot should be alive but I cannot prove where it is. I think the safest bet is to not teleport the animals into the mining world. When I did so, they just hopped off, but on the off chance it does that again, I'd suggest avoiding it.
