The story thus far. Welcome fair traveler. Sit a while and listen. The birth of Imperia, through blood and sweat, has built it's foundation on the bodies of those who's cried pleaded for mercy. Those cries were heard by now Empress Revan. Through her strong fortitude and the aide of her allies allowed for Imperia to be what it is today. This story begins in a kingdom, off in distant lands, known to allies and enemies as Edmund the Relentless. The might and cruelty of King [NAME] was well know and the hatred of his people were sown deep within the walls of the kingdom. Through countless crusades and nameless wars. Conscriptions and indoctrinations. The lands he fought to conquer and protect would soon fall to famine. Starving the citizens and stowing all harvest for soldiers and aristocrats. Siphoning off their labor. Ruin and decay would fill the lands. Petulance would soon reign as the new ruler of [COUNTRY NAME] if this were to continue. The people knew of this. Restless, and tired they attempted to revolt, unorganized and fleeting. Clashing against the soldiers. Laying defeated at every insurrection. The soldiers knew no mercy. Through the conscription and indoctrination they became as their generals. Cold and calloused. The riots spilled through out the streets. Blood would soon soak the grounds through out [COUNTRY]. Rallies and cries left deaf upon swords and shields, bearing the crest of their very homeland. No end in site and no change to happen. The people slowly gave up whatever hope of freedom. Accepting this is their new normal. Appeased with blind servitude. The Generals would still beat upon the backs of those non-conscripted. Breaking their wills and gripping onto their power. Enforcing laws no man should be governed by. Giving their soldiers amnesty to murder of their own countrymen. Granting them the rights of aristocrats. Of theft, arson, and sin. His war council, who would oft convene frequently between small revolts and marching campaigns, stood High Lord Revan, [NAME], [NAME], [NAME], and [NAME]. In secret meetings Revan would meet with her few selected trusted followers. Those who are brave and daring enough who would finally aide citizens in their escape from the clutches of the Tyrant.
