    Axes

    Axes is a skill based on using the axe tool as a weapon to fight mobs and other players. It adds more variety to gameplay by introducing a new type of weapon viable for many situations.

    Axes can be very useful in PvP as it can quickly break armor and deal critical strikes. Depending on your axes level, it is possible to break armor at a very quick rate. Axes can also be very useful if you are fighting 1v2, as the active ability allows you to do AoE damage.

    Experience

    The base skill of Axes is trained by using your Axe as a weapon. You will gain experience based upon the damage done to a target. For every damage point done, (1/2 heart) you will gain 7 XP * mob multiplier.

    **Mobs that spawn from a spawner, will only give 70% of possible experience.

    Axe Mastery

    Level 50

    By using Axes frequently, the base damage dealt with them is increased. The Axe Mastery passive ability increases the base damage dealt with axes as the Axes skill raises.

    Critical Stikes

    Level 250

    Critical Strikes double the amount of damage you deal with your axe. This is great for eliminating high defense targets. The ability starts max out at 30%.

    Greater Impact

    Level 500

    Greater Impact is a passive skill which in battle against Mobs and Players without armor, adds 2 extra damage (1 heart). Greater Impact also adds an extreme Knockback effect similar to Knockback II on a sword and makes an explosive sound when activated. Greater Impact has a 10% chance of being triggered each hit.



    Skull Splitter

    Level 750

    With an Axe held in your hand, you can right-click a block, making your active ability ready for use. The ability will then activate upon hitting Mobs or Players. This ability works for a limited amount of time starting out at 17 seconds, increasing by 1 second every 50 levels in Axes.

    Armor Impact

    Armor Impact increases the amount of damage an axe does to armor. This perk starts with an armor damage bonus, increasing by 0.02% per level in axes.

    Axes Limit Break

    The Limit Break sub-skill is intended to make Protection IV players less tanky and for you to feel more powerful for having a high skill level. Players with no armor on will not receive the extra damage. Instead damage is scaled based upon which armor type the opponent is wearing.
